The Father’s Sufficiency: Never Gives Up On You

Jul 30, 2015 | Posted by Margo Fieseler | Devotionals |

“Just think—you don’t need a thing, you’ve got it all! All God’s gifts are right in front of you as you wait expectantly for our Master Jesus to arrive on the scene for the Finale.
And not only that, but God himself is right alongside to keep you steady and on-track until things are all wrapped up by Jesus.
God, who got you started in this spiritual adventure, shares with us the life of his Son and our Master Jesus. He will never give up on you. Never forget that.”
1 Corinthians 1:7-9 MSG

When was the last time you said, “I don’t need a thing. I’ve got it all?”

Well, it should be daily, as long as your focus is on God…and His abundant gifts. You have it all right now and are just waiting expectantly in God’s Waiting Room for King Jesus to arrive on the scene…literally…when He comes again!!

No wonder the Apostle Paul reminds us to, “Just think…you don’t need a thing. You’ve got it all!” On earth now. In heaven later. And in the new heaven and earth when King Jesus will reign.

Yup! It just keeps getting better and better. And the One who keeps you on-track is God Himself…until Jesus wraps it all up!

Wow! God is right next to me, cheering me on to run. To finish the race of life well! How could I want for more?

He keeps me steady. He keeps me on-track! He is Thee Perfect Cheerleader. Thee Perfect Guide.

And to think that God is always pursuing us. He always initiates the relationship. He’s the One who invites you to join His Son and our Master, Jesus, in a spiritual adventure…for life! Forever! It’s ours to choose if we want to trust Him. Or not. Just remember, this decision will affect you…now and eternally.

God wants you to have it all! He desires to walk alongside you, to keep you steady and on-track, as He knows how this this old world can treat you.

And when everyone else leaves you helpless on the side of the road, He will NEVER give up on you.

FROM THE COMMUNUTY

Yesterday my mom fell again walking outdoors at her apartment…She is okay & was released from hospital after a few hours. On the drive to West Bend after we got the call…I found complete peace just loving my God & knowing He was in control of the situation no matter what it was. And then reading your devotion today made my heart cry out with a love for Him that can’t be put into words.
Thank you & thank you & thank you for listening & obeying the Lord.
