The Father’s Pursuit:Your Faith Is On Display
“Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we’ve been given a brand-new life and have everything to live for, including a future in heaven—and the future starts now!
God is keeping careful watch over us and the future. The Day is coming when you’ll have it all—life healed and whole.
I know how great this makes you feel, even though you have to put up with every kind of aggravation in the meantime.
Pure gold put in the fire comes out of it proved pure; genuine faith put through this suffering comes out proved genuine.
When Jesus wraps this all up, it’s your faith, not your gold, that God will have on display as evidence of his victory.

What a victorious thought! “We’ve been given a brand, new life and have everything to live for, including a future in heaven!”
And it’s not just wishful thinking. It’s truth! Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we can count on it…starting right now!!
We have EVERYTHING to live for now…this side of heaven. We don’t have to wait until we move there. Your brand, new life started when you accepted Jesus as your Savior. And yes, you have heaven in your future…guaranteed. But NOW is when you start really living.
Oh, there’s gonna be aggravations in this old, fallen world. Jesus told us in John 16, that there would be trouble in this world, but we are to take heart as He has overcome the world. So we have no excuse. He’s already paved the way to lead a “whole and healed life” now.
But what does it require to live this victorious life now? Money? Fame? Education?
No. It only requires faith. Yup. That’s it. Faith. Faith in the One True God that is “keeping watch over us and the future.” Nothing we can earn on our own and everything that He already accomplished for us on the cross because He’s not still on the cross! He defeated death and the grave so that we can live the abundant life in Him NOW and forever in heaven.
That’s faith! And our faith walk, through earthly irritations, is being proved genuine, like pure gold. God will have our faith on display as evidence of His victory!
