“So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering.
Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking.
Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it.
Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.”
Romans 12:1, 2 MSG
This is way more than a New Year’s resolution. Resolutions fade but not God’s Word! Believed, received, and put into action! That’s what it means to place your life before God. Your everyday life knowing everything is from Him, to Him and through Him (Romans 11).
Embrace…grab and hold onto with zeal…what God does for you. Live a life of God Sightings!
Fix your attention on God, not the culture. Then you will be changed from the inside out. The part that really matters.
Readily…right away…recognize what He wants from you (be in God’s Word…He kindly lays it all out)…and then RESPOND quickly. No rationalization. No huddles with your posse. Just a rapid response to Him as He brings out the best in you.
This isn’t a 2018 resolution. This is LIFE TO THE FULL! His ways are always better and lead to abundant life here…and even more there!

FROM THE COMMUNUTY
Yesterday my mom fell again walking outdoors at her apartment…She is okay & was released from hospital after a few hours. On the drive to West Bend after we got the call…I found complete peace just loving my God & knowing He was in control of the situation no matter what it was. And then reading your devotion today made my heart cry out with a love for Him that can’t be put into words.Thank you & thank you & thank you for listening & obeying the Lord.
