The Father’s Desire: The Source of Your Character

Dec 6, 2018

What a relationship! A deep, abiding relationship! Every time this person crossed the Apostle Paul’s mind,  he couldn’t help but thank God for him. Was it this person’s friendship, kindness, and generosity that were on-display? Those would be great attributes of a co-worker to appreciate. But Paul went deeper. He went to the Source of […]

The Father’s Desire: Sweet Solitude

Dec 5, 2018

“I’m asking GOD for one thing, only one thing: To live with him in his house my whole life long.     I’ll contemplate his beauty; I’ll study at his feet. That’s the only quiet, secure place in a noisy world, The perfect getaway, far from the buzz of traffic” Psalm‬ ‭27‬:‭4-5‬ MSG Where do […]

The Father’s Desire: Solid Guarantee

Dec 4, 2018

Jesus, undeterred, went right ahead and gave his charge: “God authorized and commanded me to commission you: Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Then instruct them in the practice of all I have […]

The Father’s Desire: Total Trust

Dec 3, 2018

“We don’t want you in the dark, friends, about how hard it was when all this came down on us in Asia province. It was so bad we didn’t think we were going to make it. We felt like we’d been sent to death row, that it was all over for us.    As it turned […]

The Father’s Calling: Scrub Away!

Nov 30, 2018

“Crying is better than laughing. It blotches the face but it scours the heart.    On a good day, enjoy yourself; On a bad day, examine your conscience. God arranges for both kinds of days So that we won’t take anything for granted.” Ecclesiastes‬ ‭7‬:‭3, 14‬ MSG Do you laugh more than you cry? Or […]

The Father’s Calling: Totally Known

Nov 29, 2018

“Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother’s womb. I thank you, High God—you’re breathtaking!    Body and soul, I am marvelously made! You know me inside and out, know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was […]

The Father’s Calling: Joining Him In His Work

Nov 27, 2018

“Now God has us where he wants us, with all the time in this world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus.    Saving is all his idea, and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It’s God’s gift from start […]

The Father’s Calling: Search The Heart

Nov 26, 2018

“The heart is hopelessly dark and deceitful, a puzzle that no one can figure out.    But I, God, search the heart and examine the mind. I get to the heart of the human. I get to the root of things.      I treat them as they really are, not as they pretend to […]

The Father’s Calling: Staying Fit Forever

Nov 23, 2018

The Father’s Calling: An Overflowing Heart of Thanks

Nov 22, 2018

“At one time you all had your backs turned to God, thinking rebellious thoughts of him, giving him trouble every chance you got.    But now, by giving himself completely at the Cross, actually dying for you, Christ brought you over to God’s side and put your lives together, whole and holy in his presence. FROM THE COMMUNUTY

Yesterday my mom fell again walking outdoors at her apartment…She is okay & was released from hospital after a few hours. On the drive to West Bend after we got the call…I found complete peace just loving my God & knowing He was in control of the situation no matter what it was. And then reading your devotion today made my heart cry out with a love for Him that can’t be put into words.
Thank you & thank you & thank you for listening & obeying the Lord.
