“Don’t love the world’s ways. Don’t love the world’s goods. Love of the world squeezes out love for the Father. Practically everything that goes on in the world—wanting your own way, wanting everything for yourself, wanting to appear important—has nothing to do with the Father. It just isolates you from him. The world and all […]
“God has shown us undeserved grace by coming to save all people. He gave himself to rescue us from everything evil and to make our hearts pure. He wanted us to be his own people and to be eager to do right.”Titus 2:11, 14 CEV Notice these key words…”all”, “everything”, and ” eager”. God has […]
“Jesus didn’t make it easy for himself by avoiding people’s troubles, but waded right in and helped out. “I took on the troubles of the troubled,” is the way Scripture puts it. Even if it was written in Scripture long ago, you can be sure it’s written for us. God wants the combination of his […]
“A good leader motivates, doesn’t mislead, doesn’t exploit. God cares about honesty in the workplace; your business is his business.Good leaders abhor wrongdoing of all kinds; sound leadership has a moral foundation.Good leaders cultivate honest speech; they love advisors who tell them the truth.Good-tempered leaders invigorate lives; they’re like spring rain and sunshine.”Proverbs 16:9-13,15 MSG […]
“Don’t fool yourself into thinking that you are a listener when you are anything but, letting the Word go in one ear and out the other. Act on what you hear! Those who hear and don’t act are like those who glance in the mirror, walk away, and two minutes later have no idea who […]

The sullen servant who does shoddy work will be held responsible. Being a follower of Jesus doesn’t cover […]
“People with their minds set on You, You keep completely whole..steady on their feet, because they keep at it and don’t quit. Depend on God and keep at it because in the Lord God you have a sure thing. Those who lived high and mighty, He knocked off their horse.” Isaiah 26:1-3 MSG What is […]

You’re well constructed upon him. You know your way around the faith. Now do what you’ve been taught.School’s out; quit studying the subject and start living it! […]
“One day spent in your house, this beautiful place of worship, beats thousands spent on Greek island beaches. I’d rather scrub floors in the house of my God than be honored as a guest in the palace of sin.All sunshine and sovereign is God, generous in gifts and glory. He doesn’t scrimp with his […]

Yesterday my mom fell again walking outdoors at her apartment…She is okay & was released from hospital after a few hours. On the drive to West Bend after we got the call…I found complete peace just loving my God & knowing He was in control of the situation no matter what it was. And then reading your devotion today made my heart cry out with a love for Him that can’t be put into words.Thank you & thank you & thank you for listening & obeying the Lord.
